Principals of Williamsburg Hotel’s bankrupt owner company allegedly used a complex banking scheme “to divert and siphon” at least $12.5 million from the hotel to other entities they control, a court-appointed investigator said.
The money that Toby Moskovits and Michael Lichtenstein, who are the managing members of 96 Wythe Acquisition LLC, sent to their other companies could be subject to clawback litigation in its Chapter 11 case, investigator Eric Huebscher said in a report filed with the court Monday.
