Surely these days (or earlier too, why not) you’ve heard a lot about names like “Generation Zoe” or “Zoe Cash”. For those who were not aware and heard in passing or for those who never heard of it, it is (at least that’s what they say about themselves) a “coaching and leadership” company, in addition to offering educational “packages”. The company, which is based in Córdoba, was raided last Friday for alleged scams and it seems appropriate to tell how it worked, operated and scammed?
The company is run by the coach Leonardo Cositorto (a surname you have surely heard of these days). Cositorto, who now has an arrest warrant from a court in Córdoba, offered returns on the investment with unusual values many times over any other recognized company.
“Generation Zoe also claims to venture into other businesses, such as mining, car sales, health, beauty, real estate and soccer. This business is presented as an ‘educational community and creator of resources for personal, professional, financial and spiritual development’”, writes the A24 portal.
But how specifically did the company operate? The system starts from the form of a contract in exchange for the aforementioned services: ontological, spiritual and financial education coach. Thus, people who join the scheme with contributions in dollars, in theory, receive values that would be well above the market average.
