TYLER, Texas — The IRS will begin accepting and processing returns beginning Monday, January 24, and this year’s deadline to file and pay owed taxes is Monday, April 18.
With tax season right around the corner, consumers are reminded that millions of dollars are lost to tax scams every year. The BBB reminds people to be on the lookout for emails, text messages, and phone calls from those posing as IRS agents.
