Juvenile complaint: Fernwood Drive
A resident called police at 5:29 p.m. March 9 about six kids under the age of 12 screaming and playing on the playground. The caller said they were completely unsupervised. She also said she doesn’t like the noise. She added this was every day. An officer went to the scene and found “just” kids playing on the playground. He saw no cause for a complaint. He gave the kids a basketball.
Found property: Usher Road
A man called police at 11:41 a.m. March 3 and said he found a cell phone at Usher and Sprague roads. He planned to take it to the police station.
Traffic stop: Bagley Road
An officer cited a motorist March 3 at Mapleway Drive for speeding.
Suspicious situation: Sawmill Bend
A resident called police at 7:30 p.m. March 3 about two men in the backyard. When they were confronted, they said they were from AT&T and then left. There was no work done. They left in a blue or black pick-up truck with a trailer. The caller wanted to talk to police about the situation.
Damage property: Tyndall Falls
A resident called police at 8:19 a.m. March 4 that someone cut down a tree in the front yard. She was told this was a city-owned tree lawn and the city was trimming trees. She was also advised to take her displeasure up with the city service director.
