LEXINGTON, Ky. (FOX 56) – According to the Kentucky courts website, there is a scam going on involving people claiming to be court officials or law enforcement officers.
The court website confirmed the Kentucky Court of Justice personnel will never ask for a payment, a credit card number, or a social security number for failing to appear for jury service.
Kentucky courts ask for anyone that receives a suspicious call, email, or any type of communication from someone claiming to work for the court and requesting financial information, to call the jury office and local law enforcement immediately.
