A hacker appears to be targeting Just Eat accounts to order food from a Leicester Chinese takeaway. A mum from Leeds was left £70 out of pocket after the scam artist made a monster order including Peking sauce, sweet and sour king prawn balls, dry combination chow mein, beef with cashew nuts, mushroom foo yung and king prawn fried rice from the former Mings Garden after somehow gaining access to her Just Eat account.

Five more victims have now come forward to say they have also fallen foul of the same scam, at the same takeaway. In every case, the food was delivered to an address in Leicester, even though the victims live in different parts of the country.

Just Eat went out to visit the former takeaway, which has recently taken over by a new owner and renamed Jin Lin, after the first fraudulent order. It found the takeaway itself was not to blame, but the more recent incidents have now triggered a full investigation.

Rochelle Robb from Surrey is one of the five fresh victims of the scam. Food was ordered from her account on March 7, around 8.30pm from the same takeaway and delivered to another address in Haddenham Road.
