Chattanooga Engineering Group announced Thursday that it is officially launching structural engineering services to its clients with the hiring of Jabel Busl. Mr. Busl graduated from UTC in 2012 with a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering. He previously spent seven years in the renewable power sector and has a background in both structural design and project management.
“I am thrilled to join Chattanooga Engineering Group and to help grow their engineering and construction services in the greater Chattanooga area,” said Mr. Busl. “As a community, we can all feel the excitement and growth in our region. Being part of CEG gives me the opportunity to have a small voice in developing our community in a responsible and safe manner.”
Mr. Busl currently lives in Cleveland with his wife Michelle and four children, Hudson, William, Makenna and Anderson. Before settling in the Tennessee Valley, he spent 10 years working throughout Central Africa and North Asia, building community infrastructure in regions that were underdeveloped and often in civil conflict. While managing these construction projects, Mr. Busl became interested in expanding his ability to contribute to infrastructure development and decided to pursue his formal education in civil engineering.
