
BLISSFIELD — Crime Stoppers of Lenawee County is asking for the public’s assistance in identifying three suspects in a quick-change scam committed at the Blissfied BP gas station and convenience store.
The incident happened at 8:38 p.m. Jan. 29. Three people entered the BP at 505 W. Adrian St. and purchased items with large bills. The subjects then confused the clerk, stating that they did not get the correct change and left the store with more money than deserved.
One suspect is described as a Black woman in her 20s or 30s. Her black hair was in a bun, and she was about 5 feet 7 inches tall and 160 to 160 pounds. She was wearing a gray denim jacket, black pants, and black boots with tassels on the back.
Another suspect is a Black man between 25 and 40 years old. He has a medium complexion and a thin moustache and beard. He was 6 feet to 6 feet 2 inches tall with a medium build. He was wearing a Creighton University Blue Jays knit cap, a blue winter vest with hood over a light gray sweatshirt, gray sweatpants with black zipper pockets, and black boots.
The third suspect is a Black woman in her 20s. She has black hair and a medium complexion and was 5 feet 6 inches to 5 feet 8 inches tall and about 130 pounds. She was wearing a black knit cap with gold lettering; a black, pink and white jacket; black pants, and brown boots with white fur lining.
The suspects were driving a light brown or tan 2000-06 GMC Yukon SUV.
