NEW TRIER TOWNSHIP, IL — The following information comes from the Glencoe, Kenilworth, Northfield, Wilmette and Winnetka police departments and court records as a record of police activity and incidents reported to the police. Criminal charges merely represent accusations by the state, and county prosecutors often choose to drop or reduce them. Updated information may be available from the Cook County Clerk of the Circuit Court. Anyone arrested is innocent unless later proven guilty beyond a reasonable doubt in a court of law.


INCIDENTS

STOLEN CAR
Someone stole a Nissan SUV that had bene left unlocked with the keys inside in teh 200 block of Hazel Avenue on the morning of March 21.

IDENTITY THEFT
An Adams Avenue resident reported on March 21 that someone had used their identity to try to open up a credit card.

UNLAWFUL USE OF A CREDIT CARD
A Hohfelder Road resident reported on March 23 that someone had used their American Express credit card to make unauthorized purchases of about $387 worth of food.

COMMERCIAL BURGLARY
Shortly after 4 a.m. on March 28, someone smashed the glass door of the Walgreens store at 353 Park Ave. and got into the business while it was closed. The burglar or burglars stole items from the pharmacy area, and store staff were still working on a list of stolen items and their values at the time of the report.
