Destruction of property, Dec. 13, Lakeway Rd, CCSO
An 11-year-old male was cited for destruction of property at Paintbrush Elementary on Lakeway Road around 11:55 a.m. Monday after he damaged walls, carpets, and school supplies, according to Campbell County Undersheriff Quentin Reynolds. The damage was estimated to be under $1,000 and the boy’s mother was given a copy of the citation.
Theft, Dec. 13, Fairview Rd, CCSO
Approximately $7,000 worth of 1” copper wire was reportedly stolen from a trailer that was stored at a scoria pit off of Fairview Road, Reynolds said, adding that the incident was reported by a 59-year-old male employee of Quality AG and Construction around 1:50 p.m. yesterday. The wire was last seen three weeks ago, and the investigation is ongoing.

Fraud, Dec. 13, Apricot St, GPD
A 68-year-old male called the police yesterday at 3:20 p.m. to report nearly falling victim to a computer scam where the suspects reportedly attempted to get his bank account information while posing as remote computer servicemen, according to GPD Lt.
