Mumbai: Vile Parle police registered an FIR against an unknown person for duping a 64-year-old Marathi actress of Rs 1.48 lakh in an online fraud. The victim recieved a text message asking her to update the KYC details of her bank account or her account would be closed. Police said the victim was tricked into revealing her debit card details, and the same were used to withdraw money from her account. A case was registered on February 26. The actress in her complaint, stated that she received the fraudulent message on her husband’s mobile phone number. TNN
