Older people were found to be more aware of what to avoid online.

It’s claimed young people are more than twice as likely to be victims of online scams than pensioners.

Research suggests more than two-thirds of 16-29 year olds say they’ve fallen foul of internet fraud, compared to 25 percent of those aged 60 plus.
